Drainage techniques in facial massage. Myofascial Approach
-
The idea behind this approach to the problems of lymph flow and blood circulation is unoriginal and intuitive. It lies in the fact that blood and lymphatic vessels are mobile components of the body, surrounded by the connective tissue environment of their habitat. Narrowing or restriction of vascular mobility can have significant consequences. At the seminar, we consider specific massage techniques for connective tissue structures and some familiar techniques (for example, surging) in a new, not quite usual context. Stroking and monotonous repetitive spiral movements you will not find here. There will be no oil, only "dry" technique.
At the seminar:
a lot of anatomy, extensive theoretical material accessible for understanding and understandable reproducible techniques that even choleric people will not find boring and dull:
1. Basic principles of vasomotor activity and cellular respiration.
2. Anatomical and physiological characteristics of vascular components. Passive and active.
3. Connective tissue. Composition and properties. Viscoelasticity and plasticity.
4. Lymphatic system. Basic principles of organization.
5. Practice:
- diaphragm mobilization techniques;
- release of vulnerable venous-lymphatic areas of the chest, neck and head;
- Pumping of soft tissues of the head.
Duration: 1 day (10-17). The conspects & video materials are attached.
